In a world where we are increasingly disconnected from nature, it’s important to remember that there are still wild things out there. Whether it’s a majestic animal in the wild, or a plant that’s been growing undisturbed for centuries, these things remind us of the natural world that we come from.
There are wild things all around us, if we take the time to look. In the city, there are pigeons and rats that have learned to adapt to our way of life. In the countryside, there are deer and foxes that are more shy, but no less wild. Even in our own gardens, there are often rabbits or squirrels that have made themselves at home.
We may not always see them, but they are there, and they are part of the world we live in.
