Why Don’t Sharks Like Me?

There are a few reasons why sharks may not like me, and it could be any combination of the following:

  1. I’m not a seal or a sea lion.
  2. I don’t bleed easily.
  3. I’m not afraid of them.
  4. I’m not delicious.

Let’s start with the first reason: I’m not a seal or a sea lion. Sharks are attracted to these animals because they are a major part of their diet. Seals and sea lions are packed with fat and protein, which is exactly what sharks need to survive. So, if I’m not on the menu, there’s a good chance that sharks will steer clear of me.

The second reason is that I don’t bleed easily. When sharks bite their prey, they release a chemical called triggerfish that causes the prey to bleed profusely. This not only makes the prey easier to catch, but it also attracts other sharks to the area. Since I don’t bleed easily, there’s not much reason for sharks to bother with me.

The third reason is that I’m not afraid of them. Sharks can sense fear, and they are attracted to it. If I’m not afraid of them, they may not see me as worth their time.

And finally, the fourth reason is that I’m not delicious. Sharks have a keen sense of smell, and they can tell if something is edible or not. If I don’t smell good to them, they’ll likely move on in search of something that does.

So, there are a few reasons why sharks may not like me. But, at the end of the day, it’s really up to the individual shark. Some may see me as a potential meal, while others may not even notice me.
